Job summary

Taylor Corporation in Monroe Township, NJ is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our production team. You will operate printing press equipment, monitor product quality, and help ensure production runs safely, efficiently, and according to customer specifications.

Your shift is Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30p, and you must have the ability to adjust equipment mechanisms, mathematical accuracy, and mechanical aptitude to meet tolerances.

Qualifications

• Ability to adjust equipment mechanisms to required tolerances.
• Mathematical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to read and understand job instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate printing press equipment according to job specifications and company quality standards
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance
• Prepare inks to achieve proper color and consistency
• Verify paper type, size, color, and quantity before production
• Check printing plates for correct format
• Inspect printed materials throughout production to ensure quality standards are met
• Coordinate with the Production Team to prioritize jobs and adjust schedules as needed to meet changing deadlines
• Follow all safety requirements related to the job and equipment
