Job summary

Taylor Corporation is looking for a Temporary Equipment Operator to join our team. You’ll set up, operate, and maintain printing press equipment to meet customer needs and deadlines, ensuring products meet high-quality standards.

This role offers Monday–Friday shifts, a safety-focused work environment, and the chance to contribute to a collaborative production team. Experience with production or printing equipment is preferred, and DailyPay benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Mechanical ability and interest in working with production equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and good math skills.
• Ability to set and adjust mechanisms to the required tolerances.
• Solid reading and comprehension skills for following work instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate printing press equipment in compliance with job specifications and company quality standards.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on equipment to keep it running efficiently.
• Mix and prepare inks to achieve the proper color and consistency.
• Check paper for type, size, color, and quantity before each job.
• Inspect printing plates and make sure the format is correct.
• Monitor production runs for quality and consistency throughout the process.
• Work closely with your production team to prioritize jobs and adjust as needed to meet deadlines.
• Keep your work area organized and maintain a strong focus on safety.
