Pay Rate: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule: 1st shift - 7am-3pm with OT as needed.

Job Duties

• Responsible for daily tasks related to the preparation of running paper through a printing press, as well as the offloading of the printed material from the printing press.
• This may include material handling, and daily care Of the work environment around the machine.
• Operates material handling equipment.
• Abilities required for this position include reading and understanding daily schedule. quality control documentations, job tickets. stock tickets, that are on the intranet and job tracking system. clear communication and strong organizational skills Proficient in basic computer use.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Experience operating manufacturing or production equipment.
• Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and basic technical documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to monitor equipment for proper operation.
• Ability to perform quality inspections and maintain production standards.
• Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and dependable attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Print Press Helper.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
