Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking an Assistant Press Operator for our Cincinnati, OH facility. You will assist with press setup, load materials, monitor quality, and help maintain presses in a fast-paced production line.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months in manufacturing, basic mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn printing press operations while strictly following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months of production/manufacturing experience.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn printing press operations.
• Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead press operators with press setup and production runs.
• Load paper, materials, inks, and printing supplies.
• Monitor print quality and report defects or production issues.
• Clean and maintain presses, rollers, and work areas.
• Support production goals by keeping materials organized and available.
• Follow all workplace safety and quality standards.

Job Duties

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Assistant Press Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
