Job summary

Talbots is seeking a Print and Pattern Assistant to support the Print and Pattern Manager in developing seasonal prints from concept to production. You will coordinate cad artwork, repeats, and color specifications, ensuring alignment with calendar deadlines and cross-functional teams.

Based in New York, the role involves collaborating with design, sourcing, CAD, and vendors to deliver cohesive prints for the collection.

Qualifications

• College Degree in textile/design or related field.
• Experience input: 0–3 years in print design or textiles.
• Ability to interpret design inspiration into production-ready patterns.

Responsibilities

• Create/prepare print packages with cad artwork, repeats, measurements, and cuttings.
• Maintain seasonal print chart with sample yardage, approvals and print direction.
• Collaborate with design, CAD, and external studios to ensure brand-appropriate prints.
