The Talbots LLC is seeking a Print Designer to support the development and execution of seasonal prints, colors, and patterns. You will liaise with design, merchant, product development, sourcing, CAD, R&D and technical design teams to ensure brand-appropriate production-ready outputs.

You will work with global partners, interpret design inspiration, and maintain color accuracy and print quality across collections.

Formación

• College Degree and 0-3 years in textile/design print field.
• Ability to interpret aesthetic design inspiration into production-ready patterns.
• Technical expertise in prints, color matching and creation of color ways.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Create/prepare print packages with cad artwork, repeats, and measurements.
• Maintain seasonal print chart with ready dates and print direction.
• Assist in color comments/approvals on strike-offs/bulk submits.
• Collaborate with Design, CAD and external studios to develop cohesive prints.
• Partner with Sourcing, Product Development and R&D to allocate prints to factories."
• Communicate print issues/updates to cross-functional teams and overseas partners.
• Create print boards and color cards for key concept/line meetings.
• Enter print quality and color data into the SCM system.
• Troubleshoot print development with managers and overseas partners.
• Update print quality reference books with swatches and charts.
