Job summary

Talbots is seeking a Technical Design Coordinator in New York City to manage fit model processes, maintain the Technical Design Manual, and support labeling initiatives. You will handle administrative duties and collaborate with Marketing, Pre-Production, and IT to ensure accuracy and efficiency across product development.

The role requires fashion experience, strong project management skills, and proficiency with PLM and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• Fashion-associated degree and/or 2-3 years of fashion experience.
• Strong organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Proficiency with PLM, Excel, Illustrator, Photoshop.

Responsibilities

• FIT MODEL MANAGEMENT: book fit models, schedule, review invoices, manage model agency relationships.
• TECHNICAL DESIGN MANUAL: maintain manual, handle inquiries, liaise with IT, pull information, manage data loading.
• LABELS: manage label projects, coordinate with Marketing/Pre-Production, oversee label library and vendor relations.
• ADMINISTRATIVE: book travel, support fittings/life-cycle events, train users on IT systems, process department invoices, clean up POMs/databases.
