Job summary

Morrison Cup Solutions, an Oklahoma City-based foodservice packaging company, is seeking a Machine Specialist to operate production lines and support a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, teamwork, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment during long shifts.

Responsibilities include operating machines, completing digital work orders, and ensuring product quality within specifications.

Qualifications

• Understand and operate manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Dependable and punctual with consistent attendance.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Basic knowledge of general tools and their uses.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to perform simple math for quality checks and measurements.
• Pallet jack and forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand and accurately complete digital work orders using iPads and related systems.
• Operate and run all assigned machines at designated production speeds.
• Lead and direct operators while promoting teamwork and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
• Monitor material supplies and ensure adequate stocks.
• Stand and walk for extended periods, including 10-hour shifts.
• Maintain attention to detail on quality, accuracy, and safety.
• Communicate with management, maintenance, and fellow operators to support production goals.
• Assist with packing product as needed.
• Adjust machine settings to keep products within specifications.
• Assist with pre-expansion process as needed.
• Move pallets using pallet jacks.
• Load boxes into case packers.
• Monitor scrap levels and report issues as needed.
• Cover operator breaks and lunches as required.
