Job summary

Morrison Cup Solutions LLC is a fast-growing Oklahoma City based foodservice packaging company seeking a Machine Specialist. This role focuses on operating and tuning production equipment, ensuring quality, safety, and efficient line performance on 10-hour shifts.

You will work with a team to streamline operations, manage materials, and handle packing tasks as needed. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and retirement options with up to 4% match.

Responsibilities

• Understand and accurately complete digital work orders using iPads and related systems.
• Operate and run all assigned machines at designated production speeds.
• Lead and direct operators while promoting teamwork and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
• Monitor and maintain adequate supply levels for materials.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods on 10-hour shifts.
• Maintain focus on quality, accuracy and safety.
• Communicate with management, maintenance, and other operators to support production goals.
• Assist with packing product as needed.
• Adjust machine settings (HMI) to keep products within specs.
• Assist with pre-expansion processes as needed.
• Move pallets using pallet jacks.
• Load boxes into case packers.
• Monitor scrap levels and report issues.

By relentlessly focusing on disrupting legacy manufacturing techniques with shorter production run enhancements, we aim to be America’s #1 branded cup company in the small to medium size customer base.

The schedule is Week 1: Thursday – Sunday 4a -4p Week 2: Friday – Sunday 4a-4p.

Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Understand and accurately complete digital work orders using iPads and related systems
• Operate and run all assigned machines at designated production speeds
• Lead and direct operators while promoting teamwork and efficiency
• Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective solutions
• Monitor and maintain adequate supply levels for all materials required to operate machines
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including 10-hour shifts
• Maintain strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, and safety
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with management, maintenance personnel, and fellow operators to support production goals
• Assist with packing product as needed
• Adjust machine settings (HMI and machine adjustments) to ensure products remain within specifications
• Assist with and monitor the pre-expansion process as neededMove pallets using pallet jacks
• Load boxes into case packers
• Monitor scrap levels and report issues as needed
• Assist with covering operator breaks and lunches

The Machine Specialist must possess the following qualities:

• Have an understanding of manufacturing/machine operations
• Dependable (must be at work on time)
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Must have basic knowledge of general tools and their uses
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to do simple math
• Pallet jack and forklift experience a plus
