Job summary

Morrison Cup Solutions LLC is seeking a mechanically inclined, dependable individual to support the Foam Department in Edmond, OK. The role involves operating production machines, documenting work orders on iPads, and ensuring quality and safety during 10-hour shifts.

Responsibilities include equipment troubleshooting, teamwork, packing, and adjusting machine settings to stay within specifications. Forklift and pallet jack experience is a plus, with benefits and opportunities for advancement

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined with manufacturing/machine operations understanding.

Responsibilities

• Operate and run assigned production machines at designated speeds.
• Review digital work orders and use iPads to document production data.
• Lead and direct operators while promoting teamwork and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions.
• Monitor materials and maintain supply levels for production.
• Assist with packing products as needed
• Adjust machine settings to keep products within specifications
• Support pre-expansion process and cover breaks as needed
• Move pallets and load boxes into case packers
• Report scrap and quality issues to supervision

We are seeking a dedicated, reliable mechanically inclined individual to support the Foam Department of Morrison Cup Solutions. The schedule is Week 1: Monday - Wednesday 4a-4p Week 2: Monday - Thursday 4a - 4p

Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Understand and accurately complete digital work orders using iPads and related systems
• Operate and run all assigned machines at designated production speeds
• Lead and direct operators while promoting teamwork and efficiency
• Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective solutions
• Monitor and maintain adequate supply levels for all materials required to operate machines
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including 10-hour shifts
• Maintain strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, and safety
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with management, maintenance personnel, and fellow operators to support production goals
• Assist with packing product as needed
• Adjust machine settings (HMI and machine adjustments) to ensure products remain within specifications
• Assist with and monitor the pre-expansion process as needed
• Move pallets using pallet jacks
• Load boxes into case packers
• Monitor scrap levels and report issues as needed
• Assist with covering operator breaks and lunches

The Machine Specialist must possess the following qualities:

• Have an understanding of manufacturing/machine operations
• Dependable (must be at work on time)
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Must have basic knowledge of general tools and their uses
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to do simple math
• Pallet jack and forklift experience a plus
