Job summary

ManpowerGroup is assisting a printing and mailing services client in Chesapeake, VA, to hire a Printer Production Associate for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift on a temporary basis.

You will operate printing, inserting, labeling, and sorting machines, handle mail insertion and packaging, and support continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required, with ability to lift 20–50 lbs and stand most of the shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for 95% of shift.
• Ability to lift 20–50 pounds.
• Basic computer skills and data entry.
• English communication required.

Responsibilities

• Operate printing, inserting, labeling, and sorting machines.
• Manually insert documents into envelopes and affix tags.
• Operate presorting machines to sort damaged mail.
• Place sorted mail into bins for delivery to the post office.
• Collaborate with team to improve productivity and quality.
