Job summary

The Sheridan Group is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for finishing/bindery operations on the 2nd shift (2:30PM–11:00PM). Training will be provided to operate high-speed bindery equipment and handle books and signatures through the production line.

You will safely move materials, perform hand operations, and contribute to daily production goals while following safety procedures in a factory setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• Ability to understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to read sufficiently to identify various printed forms and count accurately.
• Show up reliably and work well with a team.

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into machine.
• Pack books into cartons.
• Safely move materials/books to and from workstation.
• Perform hand operations as required.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
