Job summary

The Sheridan Group is hiring for a Manufacturing Associate – Finishing/Bindery (We’ll Train You!) on 2nd shift (2:30PM - 11PM). The role involves feeding books into high-speed bindery machines, packing, quality checks, and teamwork to meet daily production goals.

Training will be provided to operate finishing equipment in a print manufacturing environment. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, ability to follow instructions, read printed forms, count accurately, and reliably

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• Ability to understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to read sufficiently to identify various printed forms and count accurately.
• Show up reliably and work well with a team

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into machine.
• Pack books into cartons.
• Safely move materials/books to and from workstation.
• Perform hand operations as required.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace
