Job summary

Terraphase Engineering Inc. is seeking an experienced Associate to Principal Water Resources Engineer for our Reno, NV office. You will lead and mentor staff, manage water resource projects, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering high-quality results.

You will oversee hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, develop sustainable water solutions, and collaborate with clients across regions. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
PE license required.
Minimum 15 years of experience in water resources engineering.
Strong knowledge of local and federal environmental regulations and permitting processes.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage water resources projects from planning and design through construction and completion.
Oversee hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, analysis, and simulations.
Develop and implement sustainable water management solutions.
Provide technical expertise in stormwater management, flood control, water quality, and watershed management.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver solutions across sectors.
Prepare technical reports, proposals, and regulatory compliance documents; certify documents as appropriate.
Provide technical review of peer work-product.
