Job summary

Wilson Engineers is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Reno, Nevada office. You will develop designs for water and wastewater infrastructure, coordinate with CAD designers and subconsultants, and lead technical documentation throughout project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering.
• EIT certification is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience.
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain licensure.
• Experience with municipal water and/or wastewater projects is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and common engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs and technical documents for water and wastewater projects.
• Manage multiple assignments within time, budget, and quality constraints.
• Coordinate with CAD designers, electrical/structural engineers, and subconsultants.
• Review calculations, shop drawings, RFIs, equipment submittals, and O&M manuals.
• Conduct site visits to verify conditions and collect field data.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, specifications, and permit applications.
• Assist in developing project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate deliverables to support QA and timely client submittals.
• Mentor entry-level engineers and interns.
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver innovative solutions.
