Job summary

Amazon seeks a Principal Technical Program Manager to define and launch a new program that connects how infrastructure is planned, ordered, and fulfilled across Amazon's global operations network. You will replace that with one governed, automated way for infrastructure demand to turn into orders, deliveries, and ready-to-install hardware.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.

Responsibilities

• Define the program from the ground up: its charter, guiding principles, operating model, and how teams work together across organizations.
• Break down where time is lost between a customer's request and a placed order, set baselines, and target the biggest gaps first.
• Design how self-service ordering and automated bill-of-materials tools connect to supply chain systems, so orders flow without manual re-entry.
• Build a data model that handles country-specific regulations and vendor constraints as part of the design, not as exceptions.
• Set up forward-looking demand signals, so procurement moves from reacting to individual requests to planning ahead.
• Decide which systems hold the source of truth for each type of data, and which existing tools to invest in, consolidate, or retire.
• Write the strategy and present it to senior leaders, shaping who owns procurement and deployment for new site launches.
