Job summary

Amazon seeks a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead cross-organizational hardware component initiatives within AWS Core Hardware Engineering. You will own strategy and delivery for mechanical and electrical components powering the AWS server fleet from design to manufacturing readiness and fleet sustainment.

The role spans end-to-end lifecycle, coordinating across hardware engineering teams, manufacturing, and suppliers to optimize cost, yield, and reliability at scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical product or program management.
• 10+ years working directly with engineering teams.
• Experience managing full hardware product lifecycle from design through manufacturing ramp and sustaining operations.
• Experience driving cross-organizational programs spanning multiple engineering teams, manufacturing operations, and external suppliers.
• Experience with component-level hardware development including mechanical and electrical systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver complex component initiatives with broad cross-organizational impact.
• Own portfolio spanning multiple component domains and hardware teams.
• Drive supplier relationships, roadmaps, capacity commitments, and multi-source qualification paths.
• Establish roadmap reviews, manufacturing readiness reviews, and supplier business reviews across teams.
