Job summary

Amazon Inc. Stores Finance Tech Team is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead strategic evolution of financial analytics platforms for the Global Customer Fulfillment network, with an AI-native mindset and automation at the core.

You will own the program strategy, multi-team execution, and stakeholder alignment for data solutions, AI-powered reporting workflows, and scalable lakehouse platforms, guiding modernization across a large finance organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the lifecycle of large, complex multi-team technology programs from concept through delivery, defining the long-term roadmap for data solutions, analytics, and platform modernization across Worldwide Operations Finance.
• Drive consensus among Tech and Finance partners on strategic roadmaps and prioritization; influence the direction of multiple engineering teams and advise senior leaders on program strategy and trade-offs.
• Lead the transition from legacy financial reporting systems to a modern data lakehouse architecture with AI-powered automated workflows, managing schedules, risks, and success metrics across interdependent teams.
• Champion the adoption of Generative AI tools and automation across program management workflows, establishing best practices for AI-assisted planning, execution, and reporting.
• Mentor Technical Program Managers and cross-functional team members, sharing program management best practices and raising the quality of execution across the organization.
