Amazon is seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager to own cross-functional programs within the Stores Finance technology space. You will drive Generative AI-powered automation, align stakeholders, and shape delivery at scale across engineering and business teams.

The role emphasizes a data-driven, AI-native mindset with opportunities to influence architecture and roadmaps while delivering measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• 8+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams.
• 6+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
• Demonstrated fluency in utilizing Generative AI tools to enhance program management effectiveness and team productivity.

Responsibilities

• Own the lifecycle of large, complex cross-functional technology programs from concept through delivery.
• Build strategic roadmaps by driving consensus among Tech and Finance partners; be a catalyst in prioritization and fast-track decision making.
• Influence system owners, architecture decisions, and organizational priorities; advise Sr. Managers and Directors on program strategy and trade-offs.
• Champion the adoption of Generative AI tools and agentic automation across program management workflows.
• Manage program-level schedules and milestones; assess risks, define success metrics, and balance priorities across teams.
• Own program communication - accelerate progress by driving crisp decisions and presenting effectively to senior leadership.
• Drive simplification and efficiency in engineering systems and architectures; promote agile delivery.
• Develop and share operational best practices; streamline processes for repeatable delivery.
