Job summary

Snowflake seeks a Principal Security Engineer - Threat Intelligence to shape the future of its Threat Intelligence program. You will combine deep intelligence expertise with engineering leadership to drive AI-assisted workflows that collect, analyze, prioritize, and operationalize intelligence at scale.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in threat intelligence or related security disciplines.
• Experience researching and tracking sophisticated threat actors targeting cloud-native and SaaS environments.
• Experience writing code in Python or Go and automating workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define and mature Snowflake's Threat Intelligence strategy including investments in people, processes, and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Identify and profile threat actors targeting Snowflake, translate intelligence into actionable outcomes.
• Operationalize threat intelligence to prioritize security initiatives and drive action with security teams.
• Produce leadership-ready intelligence reports, briefs, and assessments.
• Engineer solutions to improve efficiency, scale, and impact of Threat Intelligence, including automations and pipelines.
• Build AI-assisted intelligence workflows for tasks like report triage and summarization.
• Collaborate with Threat Detection, Incident Response, and other security teams to convert intelligence into detections and hunts.
• Monitor feeds and developments for threats affecting Snowflake.
• Drive standards for intelligence curation, delivery, and measurement.
• Mentor engineers and analysts to raise technical depth and maturity.
