Job summary

phData is seeking a Principal Solution Architect to lead architecture, security posture, and continuous improvement of Snowflake platforms for security‑sensitive clients. You will own threat detection and remediation loops, guiding access, governance, and data protection while collaborating with stakeholders and engineers.

You will mentor teams, drive automation, and contribute to scalable managed services offerings, all within phData’s remote‑first culture and global delivery model.

• 15+ years in cloud/data infrastructure with security focus.
• Proven Snowflake security architecture, governance, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, hardening, and continuous security improvement of enterprise Snowflake platforms.
• Translate security requirements into operating models, roadmaps, and governance patterns.
• Design proactive monitoring, alerting, and threat detection using audit/telemetry data and SIEM integrations.
• Guide decisions across access, network security, identity, and data protection in complex environments.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to reusable security assets and runbooks.
