Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics or related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on semiconductor process engineering in high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience with Sputter/PVD and EB evaporator systems and related characterization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for PVD (DC, RF, Reactive) and EB Evaporation; tailor multilayer stacks for optical, structural, and mechanical goals.
• Provide high-level technical oversight of vacuum hardware and integrate process changes across PLCs for Copy Exactly tool matching.
• Lead CIP initiatives to improve recipe robustness and cycle-time to reduce COO in high-volume production.
• Lead RCA and FMEA efforts to address systemic yield detractors and drive tool-to-tool consistency.
• Develop automated process health monitors using Python, MATLAB, or JMP for real-time production health tracking.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle of new equipment procurement, from specs to SAT and qualification for HVM.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Planning, Quality, R&D) for process qualifications and PCNs.
• Coach and develop a team of engineers and technicians, promoting data-driven decisions.
