Job summary

Solestial is seeking a Senior Thin Film Deposition Engineer in the United States to own and advance our deposition processes, with a strong focus on PVD and PECVD. This hands-on role will drive process development, optimization, and equipment modifications as we scale manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has deep experience with sputter deposition and understands the link between process, equipment, materials, and film properties.

Qualifications

• Deep experience with sputter deposition and understanding of the relationship between process, equipment, materials and film properties.
• Hands-on capability to troubleshoot both process and deposition tools to keep equipment operating reliably.
• Expertise in developing and optimizing PVD/PECVD deposition processes.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Thin Film Deposition Engineer, you willown and advance our thin film deposition processes, with a strong focus on PVD and PECVD. This role will be responsible for maintaining stable, repeatable deposition processes while also driving process development, optimization, and equipment modifications as we scale manufacturing.

This is a hands-on engineering role. The ideal candidate has deep experience with sputter deposition and understands the relationship between the process, equipment, materials, and resulting film properties. They should be comfortable troubleshooting from both a process and equipment perspective and working directly on deposition tools to keep them operating reliably.
