RTX is seeking a Principal Test and Validation Engineer in Manufacturing Design, onsite at Tucson, AZ. You will drive test support from development through production, shaping test strategies and boosting product producibility.

Lead cross-functional collaboration to resolve test constraints and influence decisions across the program. The role requires a STEM degree and 8+ years in manufacturing/test environments, with a focus on test flows and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment and ability to apply test engineering to production workflows.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders to drive decisions on test strategy.
• Excellent communication skills for technical audiences.
• Ability to work on programs requiring special program access.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the manufacturing test authority within the program.
• Apply test engineering skills to optimize the test strategy across the value stream.
• Improve testability by collaborating with a multi-disciplined team and resolve test constraints.
• Influence business decisions from new designs through production transition.
• Design, control, and improve product testability with cross-functional teams.
• Develop influential relationships with internal customers.
