Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Test and Validation Engineer in Manufacturing Design at the Tucson, AZ facility. You will drive manufacturing test strategies, influence program decisions from design through production, and strengthen testability across the value stream.

The role requires a STEM bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, experience in manufacturing, and the ability to engage stakeholders. Security clearance is required to start, and onsite work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders to drive decisions on testing strategy.
• Experience communicating technical information to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work on programs requiring special program access.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the manufacturing test authority within the program.
• Apply test engineering skillsets across the value stream to optimize and mature the test strategy.
• Improve the testability of products through collaboration with a multi-disciplined team, identifying and resolving test constraints.
• Influence business decisions from new designs through transition to production.
• Design, control, and improve the testability of products through collaboration with a multi-disciplined team.
• Develop influential relationships with internal customers.
