Job summary

Mercury Systems, a leader in aerospace and defense technology, seeks a Principal Test Engineer to own the complete test lifecycle from DVT to production. You will build automated test systems, develop firmware for embedded targets, and certify tests for rugged environments, coordinating with design, program management and customers.

You will apply expertise in MIL-STD standards, RF/digital testing, and test fixture design, driving traceability to requirements and enabling successful

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of electronics test engineering experience in a related role.
• Hands-on testing of digital subsystems, FPGA verification and ASIC integration.
• Python and/or .NET used for test automation, data analysis, firmware development.
• Embedded test firmware development for SPI, I2C, UART; MIL-STD testing campaigns.
• Experience with RF and digital test equipment and lab instruments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute DVT plans for complex digital circuits including ASIC/FPGA verification.
• Design, build, certify test fixtures and interfaces for digital subsystems.
• Develop automated test systems with Python, .NET and LabVIEW; wire up instruments.
• Create test firmware for embedded targets and diagnostic interfaces.
• Perform MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G qualification testing campaigns.
• Lead test lifecycle from design verification to production deployment; TRR preparation.
