Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to help develop rugged, secure processing solutions for aerospace and defense applications. You will join a Systems Engineering team within the Processing Technology unit, designing, integrating, verifying, and delivering embedded products.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement anti-tamper protections, secure boot, encryption, and DoD-specific security requirements. A U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM discipline.
• Typically requires 6+ years experience in Systems Engineering.
• Experience in system engineering principles, requirements development and management, system design, and verification/validation.
• Experience in System Security Engineering (SSE) principles, reverse engineering & embedded security.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and/or testing of real-time embedded security solutions targeted for DoD platforms.
• Experience in generating Anti-Tamper technologies, techniques, and principles, including hardware/software protections, secure boot, and encryption.
• Experience with Cyber Security and/or Key Management plans.
• U.S. citizen with an active DoD Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.

• Design, integrate, verify, and deliver embedded products within a matrix organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, program management, and leadership to meet customer needs.
