H&N Electric, a division of Timken Motor & Crane Services, is currently seeking a Senior Territory Account Representative to support operations for the Pasco, Washington site. The role involves outside sales and sales management of new industrial motors and industrial motor repairs in a territory primarily covering western Washington and Oregon. We seek a self-starting, highly motivated individual who is results-oriented, with the ability to maintain and grow the territory. The ideal candidate will reside in the Seattle/Portland area. This position is home-based when not on the road, with expected travel of 50-75%+. The position reports to the Regional Sales Manager.

  • Responsible for commercial and contractual input into bid preparation and support, collaborating with the proposals team for successful bid submissions
  • Plan, schedule, and make sales calls to new and existing customers
  • Meet company objectives for product sales and profitability in the assigned territory
  • Create and execute plans to retain and grow the existing customer base
  • Coordinate sales efforts to ensure customer inquiries are handled professionally and efficiently
  • Maintain existing product sales and assist in formulating new product line strategies for market growth
  • Display entrepreneurial spirit and adapt to market demands
  • Manage time and priorities efficiently, multitask, and meet deadlines
  • Visit customers, assess needs, follow-up, and convert opportunities into sales
  • Work within a team, take initiative, and interact with all levels of customers, vendors, and internal teams
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of the company’s capabilities, services, and products

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience in industrial motors, power generation, or industrial sales OR a minimum of 10 years of experience without a degree
  • Strong electrical, mechanical, and sales aptitude
  • Knowledge of industrial sales; industrial motor sales preferred
  • Understanding of the industrial motors industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365/Office Suite
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Willing and able to travel at least 50% of the time

This full-time position offers participation in the company's short-term incentive program, paid time off, 401k, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision.
