H&N Electric, a division of Timken Motor & Crane Services, is seeking a Senior Territory Account Representative to support operations at the Pasco, Washington site. The role involves outside sales and management of new industrial motors and repairs within a territory primarily covering western Washington and Oregon. We seek a self-motivated, results-driven individual capable of maintaining and expanding the territory. The ideal candidate will reside in the Seattle or Portland area. This position is primarily home-based with 50-75% travel, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager.

  • Contribute to bid preparation with commercial and contractual input, collaborating with the proposals team for successful submissions.
  • Plan and execute sales calls to new and existing customers.
  • Achieve sales and profitability objectives within the territory.
  • Develop and implement strategies to retain and grow the customer base.
  • Handle customer inquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintain existing product sales and assist in developing new product strategies for market growth.
  • Display entrepreneurial spirit and adapt to market demands.
  • Manage time and priorities effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Visit customers to assess needs, follow-up, and convert opportunities into sales.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, interacting with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of the company’s capabilities, services, and products.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience in industrial motors, power generation, or industrial sales, or 10+ years of experience without a degree.
  • Strong electrical, mechanical, and sales skills.
  • Knowledge of industrial sales, preferably in industrial motors.
  • Understanding of the industrial motors industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365/Office Suite.
  • Experience with CRM software.
  • Willingness and ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
