Job summary

The Ladders is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager, New Product Development to join its Enterprise Technology team.

You will define end-to-end manufacturing strategy for new product introductions and scale complex hardware from prototype to high-volume production, partnering with engineering, operations, and external manufacturing partners to balance cost, quality, lead time, and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in manufacturing, operations, or industrialization.
• 5+ years leading manufacturing strategy for complex hardware.
• Experience with contract manufacturing and OEM partnerships.
• Proven track record improving quality, throughput, and on-time delivery.
• Experience launching products from prototype to volume production.

• Evaluate tradeoffs across cost, quality, lead time, and customer requirements.
• Develop manufacturing roadmaps for new product introduction and production scaling.

• Lead adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies and ensure products are designed for manufacturability.
• Build production systems to achieve efficiency targets and lead validation processes.
• Define manufacturing quality strategies and drive improvements in production quality.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager, New Product Development to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will drive the manufacturing strategy behind new product introductions, with a focus on scaling complex hardware from prototype and pilot stages into high-volume production. You will partner closely with engineering, operations, and external manufacturing partners to balance cost, quality, lead time, and customer requirements. The position plays a critical role in building production systems, improving manufacturability, and supporting the financial and operational decisions that enable successful product launches.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000 annually

• Track record improving quality, throughput, capacity, and on-time delivery
• Experience launching products from prototype or pilot production into volume manufacturing
