The Salesforce Cloud Technical Architect is a pre-sales, customer-facing enterprise domain expert applying broad technical skills, industry knowledge, and deep business acumen. They support sales teams in developing Salesforce value propositions aligned with customers’ digital transformation and cloud adoption strategies.
This role involves expertise in areas such as: business strategy, application architecture, data & information, integration, security, cloud computing, AI, distributed platforms, mobile, and analytics. The architect uses a consultative approach to understand and address business and technical requirements.
The architect determines which Salesforce and third-party technologies to leverage based on product knowledge, industry experience, and Salesforce architecture methodologies. They lead discussions on change programs from both business and technical perspectives, develop specific propositions and go-to-market strategies, and participate in delivering best practices, reference architectures, and industry events.
