Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Interoperability and Integration Engineer Principal in the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI). HNI focuses on providing enterprise support to over 110 active Air Force, Air National Guard (ANG), and Air Force Reserve installations and bases.

This role is within the CloudOne branch; CloudOne is the Air Force's evolution towards standardized platforms and application support services providing secure cloud environments, engineered environments, and cybersecurity solutions.

Required Qualifications / Skills

• Master’s degree in engineering and 15 years of experience in interoperability and integration engineering, including 5 years in DoD
• Secret level clearance

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and analyze technical requirements, planning, cybersecurity, Information Assurance (IA), system/program protection, Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3), spectrum management, standards, IT analysis, engineering, testing, and control functions to ensure system compatibility and performance throughout the system lifecycle.
• Perform Command, Control, Communications (C3), IT, and ISR system of systems interoperability analysis.
• Analyze C3 and ISR technologies, machine-to-machine data flows, mission planning, architecture, COMSEC, communications engineering, interoperability testing, standards conformance, encryption, spectrum certification, cybersecurity, and protection technologies.
