Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) seeks a Principal Engineer in Huntsville, AL to support the IBCS Poland Integrated Battle Command System. The role involves systems engineering across the lifecycle, from concept through deployment, with emphasis on data analysis and stakeholder communication.

The candidate should have SAFe Agile experience, and knowledge of subsystems like RF/sensors and C2. Active Secret Clearance is required for start.

Qualifications

• Experience in systems engineering lifecycle of missile/weapon system development programs.
• Experience in reviewing SOW to generate data analysis for stakeholder meetings.
• Technical knowledge in subsystems of missile/weapon systems (RF/sensors, guidance, C2).
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation and maintenance.
• Lead data analysis from SOW to support internal and external meetings.
• Perform systems trade studies for technical solutions.
• Engage across systems engineering, software, cybersecurity, network and test groups.
• Support risk and configuration management activities.
