Job summary

Enphase Energy in Austin, TX is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer – C&I to lead the architecture and development of new Commercial & Industrial energy systems, including energy storage. You will author system requirements and architectural documents, and guide integration plans from design to prototype testing.

The role requires hands-on lab work, strong C/C++ and Python skills, and the ability to mentor peers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years overall experience with BS, or 12+ with MS, or 8+ with PhD in relevant field.
• Experience delivering energy systems for C&I applications with HW/FW and embedded SW.
• Excellent communication and hands-on lab skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive architecture and development of new storage and PV solutions for C&I markets.
• Author SRD and architectural interface documents, diagrams and integration plans.
• Lead prototype integration and testing in systems engineering labs to verify designs.
• Report progress to management in oral and written form.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across geographies.
