RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Principal Systems Engineer – Architecture and Requirements in Cameo for Tucson, AZ. You will lead architecture, requirements decomposition, verification planning, and collaborate with multi-discipline teams to ensure first-time-right design for missiles and launchers.

This onsite role requires a bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8+ years of experience with MBSE tools like Cameo.

Competenze

• Typically requires bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight years of relevant prior experience.
• Experience working with SMEs, CEs, LSEs, TAs, IPTLs, REAs, and/or other program stakeholders to make informed technical design decisions.
• Experience in leading the definition, decomposition, and verification approach of requirements through specification release using MBSE tools such as Cameo.
• Experience leading the definition and decomposition of System of Systems functional and physical architecture using MBSE tools such as Cameo.

Mansioni

• Create and manage systems architecture, requirements, interface definitions & description documents, system integration, and system verification using Cameo by collaborating with IPTLs and SMEs.
• Work with Suppliers and the Supply Chain for procured items managed through REA.
• Support flight test activities and write test reports.
• Provide SE technical expertise in development, integration, troubleshooting and failure investigations.
• Lead technical discussions and formulate plans of action with SMEs across engineering disciplines.
• Support SPC assessments in the factory and hardware verification of missile sections.
• Lead peer reviews and formal release of CDRLs and Technical Data Package documents.
