RTX is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer – Architecture and Requirements in Cameo for our Tucson, AZ program offices. This onsite role drives architecture, requirements decomposition, and verification across multi-disciplines to ensure mission success for missiles, launch platforms, and related systems.

You will engage with Software, Hardware, Safety, and Manufacturing teams, guiding verification strategies, document releases, and collaboration with the Office of the Chief.

Competenze

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight years of relevant prior experience.
• Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo for requirements and architecture work.
• Experience leading the definition, decomposition, and verification approach of requirements through MBSE artifacts.
• Experience with System of Systems architecture and linkages using Cameo and related MBSE practices.

Mansioni

• Create and manage systems architecture, requirements, interface definitions and verification using Cameo with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Suppliers and Supply Chain as Responsible Engineering Authority for assemblies.
• Support flight test activities, telemetry analysis, and test report writing.
• Provide SE expertise in development, integration, troubleshooting and failure investigations.
• Lead technical discussions and action plans with SMEs across engineering disciplines.
• Support SPC assessments in the factory and at higher-level hardware verification.
• Lead peer reviews and release of CDRLs and Technical Data Package documents.
