RTX is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer – Architecture and Requirements in Cameo for Tucson, AZ. You will develop architecture, requirements, and verification strategies across multidisciplinary teams to ensure mission-ready systems for missiles and launchers.

The role emphasizes MBSE using Cameo, System-V model proficiency, and collaboration with suppliers, REAs, and cross-functional SMEs in a fast-paced, onsite environment. A DoD clearance is required.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics and at least eight years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SMEs, CEs, LSEs, TAs, IPTLs, REAs, or other program stakeholders.
• Experience leading MBSE requirements decomposition and verification using Cameo.
• Experience leading System of Systems architecture decomposition using Cameo.
• Experience in three or more areas of the Systems-V model.

Mansioni

• Create and manage systems architecture, requirements, interface definitions & description documents, system integration, and system verification using Cameo by collaborating with multiple IPTLs and SMEs to obtain necessary design information.
• Work with Suppliers and the Supply Chain organization for procured items managed through the role of Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) for that Assembly.
• Support flight test activities both in potential field support, telemetry analysis post-flight, and writing test reports.
• Provide SE technical expertise in development, integration, troubleshooting and failure investigations.
• Lead technical discussions, and formulate plans of action by leveraging company Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Support Statistical Process Control assessments in the factory and as part of hardware verification of missile sections and launch platforms as well as at higher level assemblies.
• Lead peer reviews and formal release of CDRLs and Technical Data Package documents.
