Job summary

Fidelity Investments Inc. is seeking a Principal Systems Analyst to join Brokerage Recordkeeping Technology. You will help define, design, and implement scalable cloud-based solutions, leveraging AI and Generative AI tools to accelerate analysis and improve delivery.

The role requires strong systems analysis, communication skills, and the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications. Onsite work model is in effect, with care for accessibility and inclusion.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent.
Deep experience in software development with 6+ years building software solutions.
Ability to leverage AI-powered tools for business analysis, requirements, problem-solving.
6+ years of system analysis; financial services experience is a plus.
Technical analysis of Cloud and distributed technologies.
Experience with AWS concepts, Swagger, API concepts, Spring Core, XML, REST/JSON, Splunk/Datadog.

Responsibilities

Analyze business processes and data; define requirements; generate insights.
Develop and deliver scalable technology solutions leveraging cloud and distributed platforms.
Collaborate with engineers, architects and business partners; communicate requirements clearly.
Author user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation.
Participate in design discussions; influence outcomes across teams without direct authority.
Ensure SDLC, release management, and incident resolution practices are followed.
