Qualifications

• 7 years relevant experience.
• MS degree may be substituted for up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• PhD may be substituted for up to 4 years of equivalent experience.
• 9 years relevant experience for Principal II.
• MS degree may be substituted for up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• PhD may be substituted for up to 4 years of equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Field all sustaining engineering requests for Industrial PPE Products.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand and clarify the request’s business case; providing timely feedback on disposition them.
• For high priority issues, establish due dates with stakeholders and product leadership.
• Conduct regular meetings with Global Engineering Managers and their team to discuss Sustaining Engineering activities.
• Establish priorities, assign resources; monitor progress to support contributors.
• Participate in regular meetings with business leaders from marketing, sales, production and quality.
• Report out top priority sustaining engineering projects during cross functional reviews.
• Track anticipated launch dates for high priority tickets.
• Participate in product evaluations; provide feedback through the RFEA process.
• Facilitate movement of Sustaining Engineering through Material Science, Verification & Validation, and Compliance & Documentation; assign due dates via Jira RFEA.
