Job summary

Afresh is seeking a Principal Support Engineer to own the most complex escalations and drive cross-functional impact across our grocery AI platform. You will map data, diagnose feed and anomaly issues, and build tooling to deflect future volume while partnering with Solutions Engineering, Data Engineering, Product Engineering, and Operations.

You’ll translate data-driven insights into measurable improvements, mentor Tier 1/2 engineers, and present outcomes across company channels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical support, solutions engineering, data engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills with production data ownership.
• Experience with cross-functional initiatives and end-to-end ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own the most complex escalations end to end, including data mapping defects and feed failures.
• Define metrics and report impact through dashboards and regular updates.
• Build tooling to automate investigation and data work with Python and SQL.
• Collaborate with Solutions Eng, Data Eng, Product Eng, and Ops to reduce ticket volume.
