Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Roy, UT seeks a Supplier Manufacturing / Principal Supplier Manufacturing Engineer to lead time‑phased material planning for the Sentinel program, coordinating with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Quality to align parts, BOMs and schedules for key milestones and installations.

The role drives SSOW, PR and PO execution, assesses risks from long‑lead items or sole sources, collaborates with suppliers and internal teams, and champions process improvements to improve

Qualifications

• Must have an active DoD security clearance (Secret/Top-Secret)
• U.S. Citizen
• Experience across engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing to resolve material issues and align to program schedules
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and supplier management for aerospace facilities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to analyze data from PLM/ERP/MRP systems
• Understanding of time-phased material requirements (MRP, demand planning, shop floor schedules)

Responsibilities

• Interface among Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Planning, Quality, and Business Management to align material plans with schedules
• Own time-phased material planning based on releases, BOMs, and program schedules
• Drive SSOW, PR, and PO execution; coordinate material impacts from drawings and ECNs/ECOs
• Identify and mitigate material risks and track material health metrics
• Lead or support process improvements to enhance material flow and data integrity
• Prioritize quality, safety, and schedule while reducing costs
• Travel up to 50% to suppliers and NG partners, up to 25% during normal operations
