Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal Supplier Manufacturing Engineer in Roy, UT to support the Sentinel program. You will interface with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Planning, Quality, and Business Management to ensure material plans align with schedules.

The role requires a strong background in large metallic structural assemblies, cross-functional teamwork, and experience with PLM/SAP/Delmia. Up to 25% travel is possible.

Qualifications

• 5 years of work experience with Bachelors in Science; 3 years with Masters; 1 year with PhD
• 8 years with Bachelors; 6 years with Masters; 4 years with PhD
• Experience across engineering, supply chain/procurement, and manufacturing to resolve material issues and align to program schedules
• Strong background in large metallic structural assemblies and related fabrication/assembly processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data from PLM/ERP/MRP systems to analyze material status

Responsibilities

• Own time-phased material planning to support milestones, builds, and installations.
• Drive SSOW, PR, and PO execution; coordinate material impacts from drawings and ECNs/ECOs.
• Resolve issues with Engineering, Supply Chain, Subcontracts, and suppliers affecting cost/schedule/tech performance.
• Identify and mitigate material risks such as long-lead items and obsolescence; track material health metrics.
• Lead or support process improvements to enhance material flow and data integrity.
