Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Subcontract Specialist / Principal Subcontract Specialist in El Segundo, CA for a hybrid role. You will source and manage subcontract activities, coordinate with legal, contracts, finance and program management, and drive performance in support of US Government programs.

The role requires experience in subcontracts or procurement, familiarity with SAP/MRP, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Travel occasionally may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Subcontracts, Procurement, Contracts, Finance or Program/Project Management.
• Experience with SAP/MRP or related business application software.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure complex, specialized goods and services.
• Owns contractual management for the supplier and coordinates with stakeholders.
• Manage subcontract sourcing, proposal evaluation, negotiation, award and closeout.
• Monitor schedule, cost, technical and quality performance of suppliers.
