What You Will Do
  • You will be instrumental in analyzing and refining uniquely designed assembly equipment for the development and production of the most advanced aircraft engines in the world.
  • You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a wide range of engineers in design, project, process, assembly and test.
  • Structural Analysis: Perform strength analyses using classical methods and FEA tools (e.g. ANSYS Workbench), defining FEA model requirements, conducting analyses, and preparing detailed reports.
  • Reporting and Communication: Create detailed engineering reports, share findings with internal stakeholders, and present design reviews to internal and external customers as required.
  • Methods Development: Contribute to internal initiatives focused on developing methods and technologies to enhance engineering processes and reduce new product introduction (NPI) cycle time.
  • Collaboration and Project Management: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during product development while effectively prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and ensuring clear communication in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Mentor junior and new engineers in learning and developing structural engineering skills.
  • Travel is up to 10%.
Qualifications

  • We Prefer: Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
  • We Prefer: Experience with Teamcenter and writing engineering reports.

This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility. This requisition is eligible for an employee referral award. ALL eligibility requirements must be met to receive the referral award. As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
