ShipperHQ is seeking a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to lead the evolution of our cloud platform, reliability strategy, and infrastructure architecture. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for scalable, resilient systems and engineering best practices.

As a Principal SRE, you will own AWS infrastructure, Terraform standards, CI/CD pipelines, SLOs/SLIs, and platform observability. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with Security, and drive modernization across distributed

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in SRE/Platform/DevOps with leadership experience.
• Proven AWS cloud infrastructure design and operation at scale.
• Production-grade code and automation skills.
• Expert in Terraform and infrastructure as code.
• Modern CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or similar.
• Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-architecture expertise.
• Observability, logging, tracing, and incident response.
• SLOs/SLIs and reliability engineering practices.

Aufgaben

• Own the technical vision and roadmap for cloud infra, reliability, and platform engineering.
• Design and maintain highly available, scalable AWS infrastructure.
• Evolve Infrastructure as Code standards across environments.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable software delivery.
• Define reliability standards, incident management, and post-incident reviews.
• Lead observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting across the platform.
• Create self-service platform capabilities and automation for engineering teams.
• Drive modernization including containers, orchestration, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Security on cloud governance and controls.
• Mentor engineers and influence cross-team architecture decisions.
