Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in the Eastern Region invites a talented Systems/Principal Systems Engineer to help design and deliver space subsystems, payloads and vehicles, from concept through test.

This role requires a STEM degree, experience in requirements, architecture, modeling and simulation, and an active Top Secret clearance; space domain experience highly preferred, with opportunities for growth and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in STEM with 2 years relevant experience; MS with 3 years; or PhD with 0 years.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility/approval.
• Experience in systems engineering (requirements, mission engineering, architecture, modeling & simulation).

Responsibilities

• Support and lead systems engineering tasks for space subsystems, payloads and vehicles.
• Perform requirements analysis, mission engineering, architecture development and CONOPs.
• Develop and validate system designs, modeling and simulations; lead integration and test.
• Support verification, validation, and risk analysis; define interfaces.
