Pax8, Inc. is seeking a Principal Solutions Consultant for Google Cloud + Gemini to drive strategic opportunities with premier partners across the United States.

You’ll translate complex cloud and AI challenges into scalable workloads, blending technical depth with commercial insight to win impactful deployments. In this remote role, you’ll shape workloads from discovery to deployment, guide governance and consumption economics, and mentor other consultants while representing Pax8 at executive

Qualifications

• Must-have Google experience, with direct exposure to the Google ecosystem through selling Google solutions, working with Google products and services, supporting Google partners or customers, and/or a strong understanding of Google licensing and commercial models.
• Substantial experience navigating complex technical and commercial cloud conversations, with deep understanding of hyperscale cloud environments.
• Proven Google Cloud capability, with the confidence to explore requirements, scope workloads and engage credibly with architects and other technical decision-makers.
• Commercial fluency in consumption-based cloud models, including optimization, governance and commitment decisions.
• Practical knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning, including an understanding of the infrastructure considerations behind advanced workloads.
• Credibility with senior stakeholders, with the ability to turn technical complexity into business decisions and influence without relying on an established playbook.
• A partner-enablement mindset, where success means building capability in others rather than creating dependency on your expertise.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, with relevant cloud certifications strongly valued.
• Most importantly, you’ll be comfortable operating in a fast-moving market where curiosity, sound judgement and continuous learning matter.

• Make Gemini and advanced artificial intelligence real, helping partners progress from curiosity and early conversations into production workloads that deliver value and generate cloud consumption.
• Bring clarity to cloud economics, guiding conversations around commitments, consumption governance, optimization and sustainable growth.
• Connect artificial intelligence adoption to the wider cloud opportunity, identifying where Gemini engagement can unlock infrastructure, data and advanced artificial intelligence workloads.
• Create momentum that scales, building repeatable cloud practices that give partners the confidence and capability to identify and scope future opportunities themselves.
• Set the standard, combining technical depth with commercial judgement while mentoring other consultants and elevating capability across the wider team.
• Represent Pax8 with authority, from executive conversations to industry events, translating complex technology into compelling business outcomes.
