Job summary

N-iX is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to lead architecture across enterprise clients, guiding discovery, design, and delivery of scalable solutions. You will mentor teams, influence technology roadmaps, and shape consulting engagements with senior stakeholders.

The role requires hands-on delivery capability, strong cloud expertise across AWS/Azure/GCP, and a proven track record in large-scale distributed systems within IT services or consulting environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering and solutions architecture experience.
• 3+ years in architecture leadership within IT services/consulting.
• Proven track record leading complex consultancy engagements for global enterprises.
• Experience building large-scale distributed systems (team 30+, 12+ months).
• Deep cloud-native knowledge with hands-on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong microservices, APIs, integration patterns, distributed design.
• Coaching and team enablement in matrix/consulting environments.
• Exceptional stakeholder communication with engineers and executives.
• Proficiency in Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, IaC.
• English: Upper-Intermediate or Advanced.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture visioning and cross-cutting strategic initiatives across enterprise clients.
• Grow practice by establishing frameworks, methodologies, and reusable assets for delivery.
• Build and mentor architecture and engineering teams across accounts.
• Advise C-level executives on digital strategy and roadmaps.
• Govern architecture implementation to ensure maintainability and value.
• Translate requirements into scalable architectural solutions.
• Own pre-sales proposals with technical vision and risk management.
• Lead project execution aligned with architecture.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for client needs.
• Act as Chief Architect leading a team of architects.
