Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Software Engineer to develop innovative solutions for warfighter needs supporting US ES/EA capability development at Naval Base Ventura County, Point Mugu, CA. Active DoD Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, debugging application software, and ensuring software standards are met. The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 9+ years experience (or equivalent) and expertise in C# .NET, Git, Azure DevOps, SQL Server, and Visual Studio;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 9+ years experience or equivalent
• Proficiency in C# .NET, Git, Azure DevOps, MS SQL Server Management Studio, and Visual Studio
• Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL
• Ability to modernize Winforms into WebServices
• US citizenship and active SECRET security clearance with potential for TS
• Experience with MVVM/MVC, interfaces, and unit testing

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs application software.
• Analyzes requirements and collaborates with SMEs in planning, design and utilization of software systems.
• End product may be special use, customized, or commercial software.
• Determines user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems, and designs/autonomously develops services, apps, scripts, and utilities.
• Ensures software standards are met.
