Job summary

Walmart Global Tech’s Enterprise Governance Risk Tech team seeks a skilled software engineer to help build scalable risk and privacy solutions for customers and stores worldwide. You will design and implement RESTful services, work across multi‑team squads, and drive architectural decisions with product and engineering partners.

You will also own hands-on development of n‑tier applications, contribute to agile processes, and mentor junior engineers while advancing Walmart's technology platforms

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/SE or related with 5+ years of software engineering.
Strong experience in designing REST APIs with Spring Boot.
Experience with SCRUM or XP agile practices.

Responsibilities

Define platform strategy and scalable architecture across teams.
Lead medium to large projects and obtain cross‑function approvals.
Hands-on development with Microservices using Java/J2EE/Spring.
Collaborate with product management, UX, and various product lines.
Mentor engineers and partner with Engineering leadership.
